Technology Support Committee

DMMPC TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE (TC)

Committee Activities: The technology committee will strive to keep abreast of technological developments to better meet the needs of the club and website visitors/members as our club continues to grow. Committee members will provide technical guidance and support to various club committees as needed.

1. Website:

• Update news items with content generated by club committee members or board
• Editing tabs/pages as directed by the club’s committees or board
• Updating calendar with content generated by committee members or board
• Maintain backdoor library for documents and photos
• Assist members in using Volunteer Opportunity website tool as needed
• Sending club-related email using Mail Chimp tool
• Handle club USPS mail; process paper applications for membership

2. Social Media:

• Facebook updates and maintenance
• Expansion into more social media options such as Twitter

3. Print Material

Oversee the creation and development of print materials such as business cards, flyers and brochures for various promotional use. A qualified volunteer has been identified to assist in this area.

4. Organized Play/Tournaments

• Assisting with the use of tools for organized play at multiple playing venues
• Assisting with the use of tools for tournament use

5. Other

Provide technical support for club activities such as accounting reports, state and federal filings as required
